Garlic Butter Chicken Bites are tender, juicy pieces of chicken breast sautéed in a rich garlic butter sauce, delivering a flavorful and satisfying dish perfect for an easy weeknight dinner or a quick protein-packed meal.

Ingredients

Chicken

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)

Seasoning & Sauce

  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Garnish

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken: Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces to ensure even cooking and quicker cooking time for tender bites.
  2. Sauté garlic: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter with olive oil until it begins to bubble. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  3. Cook chicken bites: Add the chicken pieces in a single layer in the skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip and cook the other side for another 5-7 minutes.
  4. Check doneness and season: Make sure the chicken pieces reach an internal temperature of 165°F to confirm they are fully cooked. Season the chicken bites with salt and black pepper to taste.
  5. Garnish and serve: Remove from heat and sprinkle freshly chopped parsley over the chicken bites. Serve hot for a delicious and savory meal.

Notes

  • Use fresh garlic for the best flavor; powdered garlic will not give the same aroma.
  • Make sure not to overcrowd the pan to allow the chicken bites to brown properly.
  • Adjust seasoning to taste; you can add a pinch of crushed red pepper for some heat.
  • Serve with steamed vegetables, rice, or a side salad for a complete meal.
  • Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days and reheated gently on the stovetop or microwave.
